I am convinced that…

the best design solution ideas spring from the direct service experience. To me, as a designer, that means that I have to engage in the experience and not just analyse it from a designer’s perspective, hence I have to become the user rather than just try to think like the user. This is called phenomenology (fancy, right?) and it is my design religion!
